Dr. Sklar Awarded Advanced Status in Use of Dental Laser From Academy of Laser Dentistry

Dr. Sklar's Case Studies Published in Academy Journal

Dr. Talbot A. Sklar was awarded advanced proficiency status in the use of the dental laser at the 2005 Academy of Laser Dentistry's Twelfth Annual Conference, held last April in New Orleans, L.A. One of 300 dentists in attendance, Dr. Sklar presented several case studies involving the use of lasers in his practice, and those studies were chosen for publication in the Academy's journal, Wavelengths".

The Academy of Laser Dentistry is an international professional association dedicated to improving the health and well-being of patients through proper use of laser technology. At the annual conference, attendees participate in discussions and panels on new research, technological developments and the expanding role of lasers in dentistry.

Our office is designed with the child in mind.

In the reception play area, we show children's movies, and young patients can enjoy an in-the-wall aquarium, and a selection of toys, books, and video games.

In sunny, soft-colored examining rooms, cartoons on DVD help distract and relax the patient. More importantly, our caring, specially trained staff treats children thoughtfully, including them in the review of x-rays, in conversations about procedures, and in plans for future visits.

Most young patients come to our office with sisters and brothers who then become patients themselves.
